I started this project to document the heartbeat of the city: the New York City subway.

The subway is where millions of lives cross paths every day. Through these photos, I wanted to capture the energy of the commute and the diverse people who fill the cars—from musicians and students to late-night workers. This project is about the shared journey we all take underground
